DDR-ONE
Reporting System
- Robust drilling data management solution using a relational database such as Oracle or SQLBase.
- Generation of numerous reports including Daily Drilling Report, NPT Analysis, Time Breakdown, etc. Reports can be generated on a daily basis, weekly or monthly. An automated EOW Report is generated.
- Benchmarking and technical limit analysis.
- Link to DSP-One allows for daily data to run in DSP-One.
The aim of DDR-One is to provide a practical tool to record the day to day drilling activities, to print, export the daily drilling report, to automatically generate Standard reports and to give easy access to the recorded data for further use (i.e. post analysis, ad-hoc reporting).
The competitive strength of DDR-One is the various built-in helps & controls for users to effortlessly secure higher data quality and re-utilise the data in DSP-One. DDR-One is accessible to all levels of personnel.
Maintain Data Quality
Quality of data is of paramount importance. DDR-one has several features which help users to check the validity of the data input. These prompts work through graphics, check buttons and logic messages.
Minimize Data Input Time
Data input time is reduced to one hour. Several major oil companies have developed complicated databases, which require 3 to 4 hours to complete a daily report; the consequences have been very poor quality or missing data, and less time available to rig site personnel for concentrating on rig floor and other important supervisory duties.
Focus on Essential Data
To minimise data input time essential data only is required for input. All data considered "nice to have" have been avoided. The essential data consists of:
- Time-related information like operations activities, and their subsequent coding, such as Non Productive time NPT.
- Technical event information like bit runs, BHA, directional, mud, survey, geology, casing, cementing and lessons learned.
- Safety and other mandatory information LTA, POB, and critical equipment data such as BOP test.
Main features
Easy User Interface
The Interface has been designed in order to simplify the data access to the user.
Reports
In addition to the daily drilling report which can be configured to suit the customers needs, a list of 20 management reports are available quickly and simply. The reports are on all aspects of the well and rig performance and can be selected monthly for any well or between any two dates. These reports give the reader a specific detailed awareness of any one aspect of the well, such as bits, BHAs, cost, NPT, equipment failures, lessons learned (well critics) and others.
Snapshot
A quick graphical view is available for technical data analysis such as Surveys, Mud, BHA, etc. as well as Time and Cost Analysis.
Queries for Multi well analysis
When a multi-well analysis is required, a simple query tool allows the user to select wells from the database and run a query on any subject such as downhole failure and subsequent lost time for all wells.
Connected to DSP-One
Techdrill offers the ability to automatically share data between the DDR-One and DSP-One.
